Rebuilding Green: Septic systems

Strathewen & St Andrews Sustainable Rebuilding Project invites you to attend one or all of a series of workshops for 2012, designed to assist owner builders and renovators to make their homes as energy efficient as possible.

 

Workshop #4 Septic systems: options, costs and maintenance

 

Topics covered:

  • Types of septic systems are available - conventional and alternative
  • The main difference - pros and cons of each
  • How they compare in cost, maintenance and longevity
  • What you should consider before choosing a septic system for your home

 

This will be an interactive workshop with discussions about all manner of ways you can increase sustainability in your home. All workshops will be practical in focus, with the aim to show you a range of options for your home so you are better informed to make choices that match your solution. Information sheets will be provided with further resources for attendees.
