everything green at Nillumbik Shire Council's Practically Green
Festival this October!
First held in 2008 at Edendale - Council's Community Environment
Farm in Eltham - the Practically Green Festival continues in 2011
to offer free, practical and simple eco building and lifestyle
ideas to help you and your family live sustainably.
The Festival showcases the very best in sustainable building
technologies - all in a fun festival-style, family atmosphere
complete with food, children's entertainment and music.
As the Festival is all about sustainability, we encourage you to
travel there sustainably too! Edendale is just a short walk from
Eltham train station.
Workshops include DIY double glazing, keeping chooks for beginners, and making dollars and sense of your utility bills.
Exhibitors include
A & A Worm Farm Waste Water Systems, Blind Effects, DIY Double Glazing, ecoMaster, Enviro Friendly Plumbing, Geo Brick, Going Green Solutions, Habitat Links, Indigenous Design, Rising Sun Electrics,Solar Breeze, and WaterWand.
Music features Vox Bandicoots, Gary Banks, Shala Ensemble, Mercurials, Chocolate Lilies, Gospel Bells, The RECHORDS and Lisa Miller.
